Great story, well told. If you love the Swiss Family Robinson and the Mysterious Island, you’ll enjoy this. Audio version contains probably 30 minutes worth of repeated paragraphs that will make you question your sanity.

Robinson Crusoe is a well known survival adventure, but this narration could use some improvement. The AI sounds like a real voice but has an occasionally slipping accent, sometimes pronouncing the same word differently. There were also several times throughout the story where a phrase or paragraph repeated. Audible usually has much better narrations.

I decided to read this and other classics. I was surprised by how interesting and profound the story was. And, I was surprised the the AI narration was so clear and compelling.

The narration is very good, and being computer generated, it’s VERY good. The only issue is that the audio jumps back and repeats sections. There’s no break in the narration when this happens, it just loops back a few lines and keep a going.
