This book marks a couple of firsts for me: it's a mystery by G.K. Jurrens, and it's the first Audible title I've ever completed! In the past, I'd started auditing a couple of titles, but, sadly, I'd never been able to listen without falling deeply asleep, and, upon waking sometime later, realized I'd missed a hundred plus unheard pages of text! "Rogue's Gallery" kept my attention from page one.

One of the most important aspects that compelled me to continue listening, was Mr. Jurrens' exceptionally entertaining voice acting skill! Whether the characters were male or female, young or old, they came alive in my consciousness! Bravo!

I learned, from the brief prolonged, that the author utilized "royalty-free music and sound effects" that really brought an almost cinematic tone to his prose. I can't wait for Hollywood (or Netflix) to discover this writer!

This book has a ton of characters and it takes a few chapters to get them all introduced. However once the majority are introduced, it is off to the races then! The book is very fast moving and will make you question the impossible! Is there really a ghost that is killing people? But beware, just when you think you know the answer, a twist happens that has you off to the races again!

I did love the feel to this audible book in that it was a very immersive experience. In the end this listening experience was enjoyable and so very different from the way other books have been read.
