Jackson is the star kicker for the Denver Mountain Lions but when he hurts his knee during a friendly game, he needs help with everyday things in life. His best friend, Tenley, is there at the drop of a hat to help him. The two have been best friends for years and Tenley has always had a crush on him. The close quarters and all the extra time together opens Jackson’s eyes to the future that he could have with Tenley.

I love that the first book of the new football series starts with the kicker. You always see books about the quarterbacks and it’s so great to see the kicker getting some love. I loved how seamlessly Jackson and Tenley’s relationship developed. It didn’t feel forced; it just felt so natural. Their chemistry was undeniable and absolutely sparked when they got together. Jackson was swoon worthy and I loved how passionate about football and Tenley. Tenley is just the sweetest and I want her to be my best friend. This was such a fun read and I can’t wait for the next book.

Rose Dioro and Teddy Hamilton narrated this audio and I loved listening to them together. Rose brought all of Tenley’s genuine and caring personality to life perfectly. I loved Teddy as Jackson, his narration was swoon worthy and that’s who Jackson is.

Jackson was her best friend and the kicker for the football team. He gets hurt and of course his crappy girlfriend couldn't take time away from herself to help him out! Jackson calls Tinley to come help him out! What Jackson doesn't know is when they were teens they had kissed in the game 7 minutes in Heaven. Swoon. I love a second chance at romance and best friends to lovers.

I listened to the audiobook narrated by : Rose Dioro & Teddy Hamilton! Their performance was so great! I love them as narrators!

This was such a Sweet Best Friends to Lovers/Close Proximity Romance Story!! To each their own, but I’m so Glad I didn’t allow the negative reviews to persuade me on this one! I would have totally missed out!! This was so, so Good, so much so I would have welcomed an extra epilogue into their future update. Narrators did an Excellent job bringing this Storyline to Life!

Jackson’s an a**hole. Tenley deserves better. The whole thing felt rushed and surface level, it just wasn’t for me personally. The narrators are great though!
