this has become a very enjoyable series.
it's a very different magic system from the norm and could be expanded in mode detail. engaging characters with just the right amount of comedy and spice to mellow down after the action.

One of the things I like most about this series is that there are so many locations. This book starts out on another planet altogether than the end of the last book and the MC has his magic ruby stolen by a robot.
How cool is that?
If you liked the first 2 books you aren't going to be disappointed with this one.

in the interest of time I think answering a few questions would help anybody reading this review. were you entertained by the story? yes. what are your thoughts on the quality of the writing? I thought the writing was pretty good for what it was. what are your thoughts on the quality of the performance from the narrator? I think the narrators did a fantastic job. is there any difference between the quality of the audiobook and your personal preference? in this case I think the quality of the audiobook is in lockstep with my personal preferences. any final thoughts? simply to say Well done to the team who brought this story to us, The Audible listeners.

I love that this is a fast paced book. The fight scenes are well written and the banter is well crafted. I think one of the best things about this book is its balance. There's not too much of any one thing. Spice is balanced by banter and fighting which is balanced by plot/storyline progression. All of which make this an excellent series. Ellory and Ben, thank you for making my workday go by faster.

A Great book and a nice conclusion to the series, at least I assume it it the end, the conclusion wrapped the series nicely. The performances by Ellory and Ben were great as usual
