Running from the Sower is a raw, honest, and deeply personal journey where the parable of the sower comes to life. With humor, heartbreak, and hope, author Nicole K. Anderson shares her story of chasing freedom, fulfillment, and identity everywhere except in Christ—from the U.S. Army to motorcycle clubs, from toxic relationships to moments of despair.

But God never stopped planting seeds.

Through near-misses, painful detours, and life-altering encounters, the Sower’s patience shines. This book reveals what it looks like to wrestle with salvation, walk through sanctification, and finally surrender to God’s will. More than a testimony, it’s an invitation—to see yourself in the story, to recognize the ways God has pursued you, and to discover that even when you run, His love never gives up.

If you’ve ever felt too broken, too far gone, or too stubborn for grace, Running from the Sower will remind you: the Sower keeps sowing, and His Word will take root in the soil of a surrendered heart.

I truly enjoyed listening to this book, it’s spoke directly to My Heart and gently identified areas of my life. This book is challenging me to start running from God’s corrections and instead lean on his guidance. This book also helped me understand that God has a purpose for my life.
