You can already see from the length of the book that it is brief. It might give you more the feeling that you just watched a documentary rather than read a book. But, everything is covered in there, ancient roots of culture, collapse of the USSR, the wars (the main focus of the book), impact and influences on neighboring regions, aftermath of the wars up to 2022, and speculation about the future fate of the region. However each of these topics are covered very briefly. And by brief I don’t mean bad or good book; I just mean to say it’s a small book
