The word glory means, what God is and has in Him reveled. The glory is the concentrated or manifested presence of God. There are three types of God’s presence recorded in scripture. 1. The omnipresent presence; This denotes God being everywhere! John 14:17 “Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.” KJV. It’s this kind of presence which convicts the world of sin and judgment. “And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment” KJV. 2. The indwelling presence. This denotes the presence of God which enters in one after accepting Jesus as his personal Lord and Savior. John 14:17 (b) “….shall be in you”. He does the work of sanctification after He enters into a person. 3. The manifested presence (The glory of God). Acts 1:8 “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth”. The glory of God empowers us to become coworkers with God. There are different kinds of God’s glories and these two deserve to be mentioned; Doxa glory and Shekinah glory. The Shekinah glory is discussed at length in this book and the instances in the modern history when the shekinah glory showed up, are discussed lengthily in this book.
