A Time Academy Examination

At the Time Academy, students do not learn magic to protect the world.

In the Examination known as Saturate, Professor Adrian Kell leads her students through a disaster built slowly and deliberately through ritual and spellwork. The lesson is the controlled manipulation of water, methodically expanded through ritual and spellwork until the land itself gives way.

Outside the Academy, a village struggles to survive on land pushed beyond its natural limits.

As the villagers struggle to endure the pressure settling over their land, the students observe how disaster reshapes lives long before anything finally breaks.

But Examinations are not meant to remain untouched.

When the students begin interfering with the spell—trying to soften, redirect, and correct what has been done—the lesson changes. Magic does not forgive hesitation. And once a world has learned to survive inside a disaster, breaking that disaster can be far worse than letting it continue.

These Examinations are not harmless simulations.

Each disaster is anchored to real points across multiple timelines, meaning the magic practiced inside the Time Academy echoes into actual history.
