"If you've missed Laymon, you've missed a treat." - Stephen King

Whitechapel, November 1888: Jack the Ripper is committing his last known murder and beneath the bed on which he's butchering his victim cowers a fifteen-year-old boy. So begin the adventures of Trevor Bentley: a boy who embarked on an errand of mercy and ended up on a quest for vengeance, a boy who will bring the horrors of the Ripper to the New World.

Didn't know what to expect but surprisingly enough, it kept me engrossed until the end. The characters are awesome and the ending couldn't have been better.

It kept me enthralled and aghast simultaneously!! Best read in quite awhile. Although Laymons popularity hasn’t met the level of King or Koontz he certainly deserves a seat at the table!! Hear hear!!!

A little like swan song by mcgammon. Well done. One of his better books.
Comming of age adventure, funny at times.

This book along with the narrative performance was very very good. I love this writer style of writing. The pacing of the book and the building of suspense was very good. The narrators performance was excellent. I found myself looking forward to getting back to this audiobook as often as possible. I will be checking out other titles from Richard Laymon.
