I have enjoyed every book by Sharon Sala and I look forward to every new one. This one I enjoyed thoroughly. But she tacked on an addition that wasn’t up to her standards and I couldn’t get through it.

An absolute wonderful read. I love all Sharon Sala books….Every time I read one I say it is the best and my favorite!
But, I must say this is absolutely the a 5(10) star read. It is full of anguish, love, and a couple of dysfunctional families that cause all of the trouble.
Silenced Witness by K. D. Richards is a great read too. It is a good mystery read with lots of action! (My first book by Ms Richards; but it won’t be my last.

Carmen Jewel Jones was unpleasant to listen to; The Silenced Witness by K. D. Richards was less than. The heroine, Alexis, was a my way or the highway, She was like a dog in heat circling the hero. Seemed more about her sexual needs thatn about her murdered brother.

Gail Shalan read the Sala book well.

Interesting but not moral or in good taste. Couple ends up living together before marriage. Explicit sexual scenes. Not a Christian themed book. Domestic abuse is discussed and presented well.
