This story reminds me of the Killer Angels and the story of Gettysburg and the bravery and courage of a small group of young men from Baltimore that literally saved our nation in the Battle of Brooklyn at the beginning of the Revolutionary War. Chris brings the emotions and passion that fueled the birth of our nation.

Listened to the entire book and finished it on Maryland Day! So much forgotten history that was brought to light by this inspiring book. Very well written, many inspiring stories of bravery and passion. A must have in the history collection.

I listened for an hour or so, it sounded simplistic and checked the listing - geared for "young adults "! Disappointed that this wasn't geared for adults, but my error! Probably good for 10 yrs old to about 14 years old.
