The story starts fast with the hero and his family already having experienced a change.

Sean is reunited with an old friend and meets new friends as he struggles to fit in around new kids in a new place.

They are all tiny in this place and because they were shrunk it’s like their chi is super concentrated into superpowers.

I loved this story of a 12 year old boy coming from an ordinary home and family to shrinking and discovering his powers! It's a fabulous journey of being the special one, and coming to terms with what that means. What would you do if you discovered you had special powers? Would you brag about them, fight a bully, get into trouble, take risks, try to save people even if it meant risking your life and well being? What a great book to address these issues!
