So I think it's safe to say that it's been a crazy few days. Waking up with no memory, meeting an eccentric robot-human hybrid intent on helping me find answers, discovering that I was part of a secret organization that wants to bring the whole planet under heel through controlled terrorism... It's a bit to take in.

But now I get to fight back, and if I'm going to have any chance of bringing my old bosses down, I'll need a few more hands - preferably ones as skilled as mine. Now might be a good time to see what my old teammates are up to.

This is book 2 in the: Last Intentions series.
Everything I loved about the first book was amplified in this part of the trilogy, and I can't wait for the third book to come to audible!
The characters are intriguing and well written, thrust into a dynamic dystopian plot that's dynamic and intelligent. The action is thorough and well paced. The dialogue is witty and charming. Basically EVERYTHING about this book is great!
I love the narrator too. She reads quickly and distinctly, but you'll have to pay close attention to every word as each section of this book gets right-to-the-point of the situations. There's not much filler or empty pages that refuse to carry the plot, everything matters. So pay your best attention while listening!
But if you are someone who stumbled into this review looking for a new listen: do not pass this series up! I am someone who would compare this easily to Divergent, Hunger Games,Legend and the like as an intellectually captivating dystopian series.
