This was a great book with a bit of a different storyline. I throughly enjoyed this book and I look forward to the new book in the series! The narration was spot on, Andrew Tell did a fantastic job of bringing this story to 'life'!!! I think this was a realistic book that made me really think about the Near Earth Objects that could possibly happen. Well worth the credit (yes I got this title free but I would buy it if I hadn't). Kenny Soward is a great author, I haven't read anything he had his hand in that I was disappointed in!

Shattered Skies: After the Impact Book 1 is a solid start to what looks like it will be an exciting post-apocalyptic series. The story follows several characters trying to survive after a catastrophic world event, and I really liked how the author shows different perspectives, from the chaos of New York City to life on a horse farm in Kentucky.

I’ll admit the beginning felt a little slow for me while the story was setting up the characters and their situations. But once I started getting to know them and the stakes became clearer, the story really pulled me in. The tension builds nicely and the survival elements make you wonder what the characters will have to face next.

I listened to the audiobook, and the narrator Andrew Tell did a great job bringing the characters to life and keeping the story engaging. His narration definitely helped keep the pacing moving once the plot picked up.

Overall, this is a strong start to a post-apocalyptic survival series. If you enjoy disaster fiction with multiple storylines and character-driven survival, this one is worth checking out. I’m definitely interested to see where the next book takes the story.

I was entertained by this book. My attention was engaged from the opening until the end of the story as one action filled scene flowed into the next. I liked how the story kept flipping from one character's point of view to another's, and since each chapter was devoted to the character, I was never unsure which character's story I was following at the time. I felt for Nick and Chris as they faced their individual struggles. I wanted to shake some sense into Gabby. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series. I enjoyed Andrew Tell's narration as his performance kept my attention. I was given a copy of the audiobook. I volunteered, without financial gain, to post this review which reflected my honest opinions regarding this audiobook.

I loved the stories going on with the different groups of people trying to survive the disastrous effects of being pelted by incoming waves of asteroids. Everybody is besieged by different circumstances and events that are happening around them! How Nick tries to get back to his family, and Chris and Gabby deal with getting through the craziness of a disaster, and the people they encounter along the way! Good stuff, Kenny Soward!
