Really enjoyed book 1, but I wanted the tension of rejection to remain just a bit longer, maybe until book 2. There is definitely still a lot to get through but the storyline is very interesting and has been laid out really well. Even though this is dual narration the characters portrayed are done super well. Great narration!

This book has come up on my Amazon suggested books to purchase for a while, as soon as I saw it on audible, I went for it. (I listen to books all day when I work.)

The building of the story was awesome. Typically with supernatural books, I can guess in the first couple chapters where the book is going to go. This book kept me guessing constantly.

All I am going to say is cliffhanger stinks but I am so excited for the next book. I don’t want to give more away, because I despise when I happen upon spoilers whilst reading reviews. I am following the author and have an alert set for the next in the series. It is DEFINITELY worth the money/credit!

A gal and four guys are kidnapped by The Guardians and they are still trying to get them back. In the beginning, one of the guys and the gal escape separately from the other guys but they are all captured again. The gal is sold to a gladiator boss. This is when they all escape and find each other again. But now, the guys hate her. They were shown fraudulent images of the gal helping the Guardians. Life gets weird for all of them. They also had developed special powers while they were apart.

Really enjoyed this even though the burn was a little too slow. Hope the sex scenes pick up in the next books.
