I was able to get past the narrator and really liked the story. Good read

I do like to listen to Jill Mansell books, but this one sadly is painful to listen to. It's narration is halting & stilted, especially when it's a male character. I'm never quite sure if the character is not from England, or Scotland or Ireland or possibly Australia at times. I'm trying to make it through the book, but not sure if I can.

Really enjoy Jill Mansell’s books but was so frustrated and disappointed with this one totally because of the reader. Her robotic style, over enunciation of each word and poor delivery style made it nearly impossible to finish the book. My enjoyment of Mansell’s books was the ONLY reason I stuck it out until the end. In the future, I will make a point to skip other books read by Charlotte Anne Dore.

I have listened to dozens of audiobooks but this was honestly the least successful reading I have heard. I had to stop and buy the book to read it cause I could not listen anymore.
