America has fallen. It just doesn’t know it yet.

Kayla Morrow, Keith Wright, and Charlie Carter, once strangers and now close allies, find themselves broken and scattered, spread across the country, each with their own private wars to wage. Their enemies surround them, outnumber them, but the three have found new allies on their separate journeys. If they can all get back to each other, they might just stand a chance against an overwhelming opposition.

President Turner has achieved power he never dreamed of, but his benefactors are threatening to take it all away from him. Turner isn’t willing to give it up without a fight. Civil war threatens The Order, and the nation will suffer no matter the outcome.

Book three in this adrenaline-pumping action-thriller series from best-seller Paul Heatley, and the explosive conclusion to The First Sleeper saga.

series is ok. a little weird but a good premise. audio is strangly done but fits the stories. i had to slow it down to .9 tho to keep up with what was going on.

I enjoyed this series. The story kept my interest and I liked the characters. Could have used better editing and author has strange obsession with people "sucking" their teeth, but generally well written and performed. Narrator mostly avoided different voices/accents for characters, but I could still follow along. Would have been fun to have a true Geordie accent for Charlie.

Intriguing premise
