Smile is the 6th book in the spiritual and paranormal Shellbound book series. Smile tells the story of Mark Helms, a research pharmacist from Denver who leads a seemingly perfect life. Things begin to unravel shortly after Mark begins receiving a batch of mysterious letters. He soon discovers a link between the letters and people that have died or who will soon die. Helms goes to the police for help, and eventually the case makes its way to Tyler Maye and his 3PU team who now live and work outside of Denver in the new nation of Navajo. The case hits closer to home than Maye initially realizes. President Miles Young has been held largely in check, but his agents are lurking nearby, and Young himself has a history in the region.
