Eve is once again called out with Willow to find a lost skier. As the storm worsened and the skier was found the real mystery begins as Eve is forced to stay in a remote cabin with the possible killer. The story has so many twists and turns brought to life by the amazing narration!

Now I have listened to 24 books of this series and this one seriously had my heart pounding! Eve was called out just as a huge blizzard was coming to town. She had to take Willow since it was a search for a skier, and after finding him, she witnessed someone kill him. Scared that she would be next she ran and got herself back to the cabin only to worry that the killer would be staying with her. Hours of fear, hours of not being able to contact Aiden, or get picked up. The snow was bad and each minute led to more questions and surprising answers. Where does it all land? I am not telling, but Willow is a star and her last mission was a success. I can't wait to see what is in store for Eve next.

Julie McKay builds the suspense for this one as Eve solves this case and hopefully keeps herself safe. This is a fabulous listen, keeping my heart racing and wondering who the killer is. It's the kind of listen I love, it's complete entertainment and McKay is fantastic.

Enjoying this search and rescue cozy mystery series. Julia McKay’s solo narration for this series is perfect. I enjoyed her vocal range for all the different characters. You forget it’s a solo narration.
