Told from the kitty's point of view, Beverly Cleary really nailed the thoughts and emotions of a cat. Perfect for children with pets in the family, because by revealing that animals can have similar feelings, it helps them develop empathy for their furry friends. My guilty secret? I have to admit that, as a cat person, I love it too.

I just love that the story is about when you get an younger brother, or sis, you feel left out and alone. Yet, you are always in the middle. You. You are in the fun.

This is definitely going to be a book I’m going to read again. The only problem is that I got the authors name confused I thought her name was cleaverly blever 🤦🏼‍♀️ sorry that happened I’m not good at remembering names... anyway this was a wonderful book I would recommend it to everyone.
