Pedro A. Carranza's (1903-1956) Volume. I of A Minister's Journal comprises a selection of sermon outlines, notes, and lectures handwritten and typed by him from the 1940s to the time of his last ministry as Pastor of Primera Iglesia Bautista Hispano-Americana in San Jose, California. Volume I sermons focused on four main themes: Sola Scriptura, Solus Christus, Sola Fide, and Sola Gratia. As topical sermons, they included clear, closing applications for the work and life of Believers. Pastor Carranza dedicated many hours to the study and teaching of the Bible. He believed and preached Scripture Alone and Justification by Faith Alone.
