David Wood does another great job with this edition of the Maddock and Bones adventure series. As always the cast of characters are well defined, believeable and fun to be with.

Jeffrey Kafer does an excellent job with the narration, separating the characters and keeping the pace appropriate to the setting.

This was another great adventure with plenty of action. The narration was excellent as always. After being given this book and realizing how exciting it was, I binge listened to the entire series to catch up to this point in the story before continuing. I enjoyed every minute.

This was a non-stop action packed story! A great mix of history, lore and exotic locations. Not a lot of time spent on superfluous details, which results in the length of the the story being just right. Once you start it you will not want to put it down! The narrator does an excellent job with the wide cast of characters and accents - well done!

Another great action story from David Wood. I don't know what the end game is, but I am looking forward to the ride.

Dane and Bones at it again.

his is the second Dan Maddock adventure I've had the pleasure of listening to. I will gladly grab another. The back and forth banter between Maddock and Bones is hilarious. The fast-paced action and various storylines keeps the reader wanting more and see the story to the very end. I really enjoy Mr. Wood's style and his characters. He is funny. He finds humor in all sorts of situations and knows how to entertain while weaving a great story.

This is not the first audiobook I have enjoyed from Mr. Kafer and it will not be the last. His voice-style is perfect for this genre. He never misses a beat with the humorous back and forth banter amongst the main cast of characters. The listeners always know if a male is speaking from a female. Kafer doesn't waste time giving every character his/her own distinct voice he allows the storytelling to carry it you through and it works. Kafer handles various accents keeping the listener in the story. I'm not a critic of accents, I just want to enjoy the story and Kafer never disappoints.
