What an excellent romance! A movie star hunk falls for someone who is anything but a typical, shallow fan girl, The story has depth and is unique. It is full length and then some. The book does not have a cliffhanger ending. The tension builds and then releases. Just when you think you know what will happen next, another twist occurs in the story line. The story has actual romance rather than smutty sex scenes. Listening to the book is an emotional journey. You connect with the characters and feel genuine sorrow and share in their happiness. The heroine is such an admirable person.

I loved this book! It checked all the boxes for a celebrity romance but also had unexpected depth.

All of the books in this series (six, so far) are well written and have been very enjoyable. My only caveat for the audio book is that the opening scene is somewhat difficult to understand the to the (unnecessary in my opinion) high pitched screams of excitement related to a movie star. Don't give up- this part is over soon. The performance is well done overall. I look forward to audio versions of the later books in the series. Disclosure: I was the winner of a free copy of this audiobook.
