‘’Want a look into the shadowy world of US special operations? Sons of Valor puts you on the front lines. Nobody does action like Andrews & Wilson!'’—Jack Carr, Navy SEAL sniper and New York Times bestselling author of The Devil’s Hand

A new generation of elite American warriors faces off against an enemy unlike any other.

Sons of valor …

Navy SEAL Keith “Chunk” Redman has been one of the military’s top doorkickers since the day he pinned on his trident: loyal, single-minded, lethal. Tasked to lead a new, covert team of Tier One SEALs—the most elite special operators in the world—Chunk can no longer simply rely on the status quo. To safeguard America, he needs help to stay a step ahead of its adversaries.

Brilliant at spotting patterns in the data that others miss, ex-CIA analyst Whitney Watts sees evidence of a troubling link between illicit Chinese arms sales and an attack on a US military convoy in Afghanistan. If she’s right, it would portend not only massive casualties, but a devastating threat to global stability.

Sons of war …

From the ashes of a never-ending war, a new generation of terrorists has arisen: sophisticated, tech-savvy, and hiding in plain sight among America’s allies. Battered by the Taliban and by the West, they call themselves al Qadr—Power and Destiny—and they’re determined to wrest back control of their homeland. Armed with a powerful combat drone, they can strike with deadly precision at US forces in the region—but their ambitions reach far, far beyond that.

A new legacy …

The new Tier One’s first mission will require them to not only prove themselves, but to stop an enemy who’s using military tactics against them. Chunk and his team aren’t just the tip of the spear; they’re America’s first, last, and best counterterrorism defense. And they couldn’t have arrived at a more urgent—and perilous—time.

This is not the type of book I would normally choose to read because it was about fighting and war and I expected it to be kind of a Rambo or superhero thing. I could not have been more wrong. I gripped me from the beginning and I could not leave it alone. It is about relationships, politics, determination, character and so much more. I certainly hope to see more of this type in the future.

What a surprise!

And it’s not his voice, it’s his style!!! I’ve never enjoyed an audiobook more. The style of writing and the story line is fantastic!! I lived the military verbiage and countless times rewound it to hear those words again!!! I plan on reading every book in this series!!! Bravo 👏🏼

Narrator is the best I’ve ever heard

Audiobook Review - I'm a big fan of Andrews & Wilson. These guys are good authors! The Tier One series with John Dempsey is one of the best series in the military thriller genre. “Sons of Valor,” the first book in a new series in the Tier One universe is a totally separate series from the John Dempsey Tier One stories; it focuses on a different protagonist in Navy SEAL Keith “Chunk” Redman and his team. They aren’t just another tip of the spear in this Tier One series spinoff, but they’re the best counterterrorism defense crew against a devastating threat to global stability in this separate but familiar storyline. Andrews and Wilson have consistently written rock-solid military/espionage books in the Tier One series and this one is no different…it was an absolute ‘awesome’ read! The book starts out with a bang with a drone strike and doesn’t slow down until the very end. Please note, this book is not about ‘the killing business’ as some may think, but instead, it’s about ‘the intervention business’, which Andrews & Wilson do an incredible job in expressing throughout the storyline. The pace is unrelenting, the characters are very appealing and believable, and the plot is realistic and all consuming. I enjoyed this book so much; I -listened to the audiobook narrated by Ray Porter. While the book was great in me reading it, it was even more awesome listening to Ray Porter narrate this remarkable story. Sons of Valor is another ‘five-star’ listen/read by Andrews & Wilson. A blockbuster military thriller!

A five-star listen narrated by Ray Porter...!

Honestly I wasn't expecting much from this book, but I was absolutely surprised at how good it is. The only teensy flaw I can think of is the author's weird obsession with headshots. No soldier is trained to aim for the head, they're trained to aim for the torso because it's a big flat target full of vital organs. If you can look past that one small detail with bullet placement, you'll love this book.

I wish Hollywood would take notes

I had just finished the first book of Terminal List, which is also excellent and i couldn't wait to start the next book but ran out of credits and money tight. Thumbing through the free section and found this Gem..idk which is better but this book story, narration and performance is amazing.
