Well I didn’t expect this story to tie into another story from this author (Smoke) I was stunned when it came together. Though both stories are fiction the story lines are so different, it was absolutely brilliant his she tied them together. I had to go back to Smoke and to realize this main character was featured. It was so brief I forgot. This just makes me fascinated with how the author minds works. To come up with two series that on the surface have nothing to do with with each other but are totally related.

I didn't know what to expect jumping into Zora's story. I knew she'd been through some rough times to have her not ready to accept love but man, this book was deep. The whole series was deep and literally has me looking up the New Moon dates for 2025 and questioning if it's bad to do as a Christian. All I know is I loved the spirituality in this whole series. I loved how the author made sure to acknowledge God, the creator and Jesus in each book as a sign of them being the source of their gifts.

As a 43 year old wife and mom to a toddler, I'm so used to listening/reading books having storylines of relationships starting in their late 20s and early 30s and it had me yearning for my youth, but after listening to Zora and Solomon's love story I'm looking forward to the deeper passion still left to come. Kudos to the author💚. Now let's see what happens in the spinoff with Elijah "Smoke"
