This is an okay but mostly forgettable story that was mainly written to fill a plot hole in rise of Skywalker. I think that it's a good bit of world building and shows us how the new republic was slowly gaining stability after the galactic Civil War. Nor much of note after that. The narrator struggled to do a Poe Dameron impression that was passable. He also butchered babu frik, however, I think most would too. it was definitely just an eeh story.

This wasn’t the absolute best, but it was enjoyable. Definitely worth a credit. Production and narration were excellent.

Good. Solid book.

The story is about Poe growing up on Yavin and leaving home as a rebellious teenager. I love Poe because he knows how to fight and defend himself. He knows the difference between good and bad. The story seamed real to me when I was listening to it. The audio book had John Williams music from the movies. The narrator made the story seem real. I didn’t want to quit listening to the story but I had other schoolwork to do. I had a lot of fun listening to the story. I recommend it to all ages.

The background music and sound effects were obnoxious and distracting. At times it was difficult to hear the actual reading.

a good listen. a book that once again ties up a loose end left out of the movies. Poe's voice is a tough one to duplicate. inflection and tone were clise byt not quite. still a really solid 5 star performance though

poes voice is tough to imitate
