This audiobook is an informative and unique guide for stepmoms. It will help them how to deal with their stepchildren and conflict resolution situations. I rcommend this book for stepmoms who are in this family arrangement or about to get into it.

A very frank yet sensitive perspective is offered on step-parenting in this book. I especially liked the chapter on bonding and the advice given there: don't push it and follow the child's guidance. The chapter on taking care of yourself is an excellent reminder of this critical aspect. The author reminds us that although these relationships can be challenging, a loving relationship can be the outcome of being patient and supportive.

Gave alot of good tips! Great tips on how to get close to your step kids and what to do if they are acting a certain way. I feel like most of us get stressed out with dealing with kids who act up but this book can help how to communicate with them and the partner. Specially now more recently that alot of couples are separating and more kids are having stepmoms and stepdads this book can really help!

A great book to better understand your role and expectation as a stepmom or soon to be. Seldom do you find books that talks about relationships for stepmoms so Im glad to have found this. The narrator was easy to listen to and I found a lot of helpful tips inside.
