Ten years ago he broke her heart. Now he's determined to win her back.

Nobody expects to meet the love of their life on their first day at school, but from the moment Tanner Hartson set his eyes on Savannah Butler, she stole his breath away. She was beautiful, wild and free. And though her life was hard, she made everything feel easy.

As they grew up, they were best friends. Then sweethearts. And finally lovers. Until he broke her heart in the worst way.

They haven't spoken for the last ten years. But now she's returned to their small home town and he can't fight the intense attraction that keeps pulling them together.

He wants her back. And this time he won't take no for an answer.

Doesn't true love deserve a second chance?

Contains mature themes.

What a perfectly executed second chance romance. I think Tanner and Van's love story is the sweetest so far. I'm s sucker for grand gestures from cheesy movies, I had the biggest smile during that part.

Also it was nice to see how Van was able to work through her shame and realize she wasn't accountable for her mothers mistakes and poor behavior as an alcoholic. It's hard for some of us to come to terms with the fact that there is nothing you can do that will magically make it enough for your parents to change or face the errors of their ways. No matter how hard you try to push it and self sacrifice. It was sweet how Zoey was the one to point that out and that no matter what people say about your parents it's not a direct reflection of yourself and their opinions have no power over you unless you let them. Kids are great that way and we have a lot we can learn from them as adults.

Tanner and Van were best friends since he knocked her down in kindergarten. They went through a lot together then sacrifices were made and the friendship fractured. That was 10 yrs ago…now both are back home for various reasons and they are working on repairing their friendship. Will past hurts and secrets prevent their HEA? Love this second story in the series! Looking forward to more of the ‘Heartbreak’ brothers.

Amateur writing could have used a better editor. Some of the characters were irritating even though they should have been represented as loving and supportive. I liked the narrator and hope to listen to more books she reads.

Decent plot

why is this woman so dramatic it's ridiculous why can't we write it better not every one is a whiny baby because of how they grew up

Cute small town romance, but I was a bit bored.
The one narrator for both POV's was not my favorite.
