It's very difficult for an author to really pull off a short story but Catherine Steadman did it. unnerving unreliable heroine. chilling and memorable. The audiobook narrator did a fantastic job. It was very good story. trigger warning ⚠️ due to themes of violence against women

A good job building the suspense, although the climax was predictable, as it is with most short stories. Nevertheless, the story was entertaining and worth the time. An unconvincing twist at the end gave it a thin layer of frosting.
