In Storm Front, readers will be immediately drawn into the life of recently widowed Joanna Bright. When she impulsively answers an intriguing ad seeking a caretaker for a small, century-old Chinese apothecary museum, Joanna has no idea what she’s in for. But as she begins her new life in the tiny coastal town of Dungeness Bay, Joanna quickly realizes that danger and excitement are lurking around every corner. From her mysterious taxi driver to an unexpected service dog and a dead body, Joanna’s life is turned upside down in just one day. As the accusations against her start to pile up, Joanna must navigate the treacherous waters of a murder investigation and prove her innocence. Will Dungeness Bay be the fresh start she’s been searching for, or will this idyllic coastal town be the setting of yet another tragic chapter in her life? Storm Front is an expertly crafted mystery that will keep readers guessing until the very end.

The very short chapters and too long pause before narrator began speaking was annoying and created a choppy delivery. The motive for the killer was a bit weak. Joanna's characterization was more trusting than would be actual I think. The premise of story was intriguing .
