The moment Kate stepped into Noah Beaumont's office, she never expected to feel the sparks that she did. As she was hired to be his personal assistant, the two were expected to keep a strictly professional relationship - no matter how attracted they were to each other.

But when a work trip to the tropical paradise of Malaysia strands them on a deserted island, they are faced with a forbidden love that threatens to break their resolve.

As they battle against the elements, scavenging for food and fighting off predatory animals, their connection grows stronger and their passion for each other becomes more undeniable.

They also forge an unbreakable bond over a shared passion that’s going to be hard to break if they’re finally rescued.

If you’ve enjoyed the other romance novels in The Billionaire Romance Collection, then you'll love this clean yet sultry story of forbidden love between Kate and Noah.

This was a pretty good book in general. It did have a lot of cliches in it but it was pretty enjoyable. Brandon Peterson did a pretty good job with narration. I honestly liked his female voice more than his male voice but It was still enjoyable. I did feel like there was a lack of passion and chemistry between the characters, but the family issues between them gave them some depth. All in all was pretty ok.

It was pretty good.

The best part of this story is the first page as Kate and Noah's blind date begins. They are a cute couple that find they have a love of painting in common, but both have the responsibility of a job that comes first. He has the added complication of an overbearing father who wants him to concentrate on business and, with that, this is a good start. The minute they reconnect, things go bad pretty quickly. Kate interviews for a job and, lo and behold, Noah's the boss. One of her first assignments is to go on a business trip to Malaysia by way of a deserted island. Things are going well until their plane crashes. All of a sudden, Noah turns into a raging bear and snaps Kate's head off if she says something trite or silly. Granted, they lost their pilot in the crash, but Noah goes way overboard with his nasty insults and mocking taunts. The final straw for me was when Noah started to get a little bitchy and Kate almost swooned! Yes, apparently his bad attitude turned her on. That came on too fast and it was only with words because there were no actions that would show that they were in love. It really had good bones and it got off to a good start, but my inability to identify with the characters reduced my overall enjoyment.
The narration was well-done by Brandon J Peterson. He used a dynamic vocal range to differentiate his female and male voices.

A blind date, something in common. But not follow up. Noah and Kate enjoy the date, but neither contact each other. Kate finds herself going for a job interview and it turns out its a PA for Noah. Even with the attraction both keep it professional.
A work trip to the tropical paradise of Malaysia strands them on a deserted island. It is there the two find it hard to not to break their resolve.
They also forge an unbreakable bond over a shared passion that’s going to be hard to break if they’re finally rescued.
With the love of art and hot kisses these two find romance.

This was a clean romance about a couple who was originally set up on a blind date. they had a great time but the MMC doesn't know how to use a phone. He never contacts her again. By coincidence, the FMC ends up applying and was selected as the personal assistant for the MMC. There's a no fraternization policy, so they don't pick up after their first date. He takes her on a business trip and their plane crashes on a deserted tropical island where they learn about each other, become friends, and start to fall in love. they are rescued and are both swept up by their families but the MMC's inability to use the phone causes some strife. The book is well written and the narrator did a great job.
