Subterra, an underground city closed off from the rest of the world by a massive dome. It's been two hundred years since the city was sealed shut in the face of a world-ending nuclear war. While the Earth healed, the city's residents thrived in their self-contained environment.

Over time, the residents became locked in a feudal system of Uppers, Mid-Tiers, and Bottom Dwellers. With no motivation to relinquish their power, the Uppers refused to open the dome when it became clear that radiation was no longer a threat. Instead, they made excuses about the dangers of the outside world.

The Mid-Tier population accepted what they were told. The Bottom Dwellers did not. They longed to break the grip the Uppers had on the entire city, and to open the dome once and for all. Now, two hundred years on, a ragtag group of Synthetics, robots, and humans have formed a plan to do just that.
