This story is told in 3 parts- each a separate book. With some decent editing it could have been 2 books or 1 larger book which would have been preferable. Fortunately it was in the Romance Package, where all 2 and 3 part stories should be so the reader isn’t forced to pay extra for the conclusion. The story itself is good. There is a horrible gang rape of an innocent teenager who stupidly put herself in a dangerous situation- as many teens occasionally do. The rest of the story is about her putting her life back together through strength, family support, therapy, plans of revenge, and eventually the love and trust of a truly wonderful and very sexy man. There a several twists, some interesting characters (hope to have a book about Dennis) and a satisfying happy ending. We learn little of 2 of the attackers but the one she eventually recognizes is very evil as well as sick which adds more tension to the story. This is well worth the read in the Romance Package but not sure it is worth the cost of books without the package.

This series has become a favorite of mine Sela and Beck are absolutely made for each other. There is suspense all the way through the series. The epilogue does answer some questions and ties up loose ends.

I swear my heart was in my throat the entire time as the suspense drama comes to a shuddering halt. What began when Sela was 16, has come to haunt her relationship with Beck in the present. Now they're truely stuck.
I didn't see ANY way how they could achieve their freedom and HEA.
The developments were massive and fast, rescue nowhere in sight.
I needed minutes to exhale the breath I'd been holding for three books. Couldn't listen to it fast enough.
As usual Lucy Rivers and Christian fox have done an outstanding job portraying all the emotions with intensity and Verve.

I loved this series! The characters were great, the story line hot and exciting and the suspense was awesome! The cliffhanger at the end of Book 1 was a though one cause I wanted the next book right away lol! In the end it was so worth the wait and the series ended perfectly!

Love the narration too!!

I LOVED the SUGAR BOWL SERIES ! it hooked me START to finish! There is loss, love, mystery and a very original storyline that grabs your heart strings. These books are beyond SUGARY SWEET!
