Enter a world of mystery, suspense, sin, and heart-wrenching emotion with Helen Hardt's new series!

She's his sweet sin....

Ex-convict Falcon Bellamy served eight years for a crime he didn't commit. Once he was free, he wasted no time hopping into bed with his parole officer. She was the salve he needed to soothe the demons from his incarceration and the worry for his sister who's fighting a life-threatening disease.

But sweet Savannah Gallo has her own demons.

A member of a notorious crime family that robbed her of both her brothers, Savannah tried to leave her past behind. But a rival organization wants her, and they'll stop at nothing. Savannah knows how to fight back, but she has an Achilles' heel, and she's determined to save him from another prison sentence.

Falcon is no stranger to sacrifice. He will keep Savannah out of harm's way...and he'll plow through anyone who tries to stop him.

Book 1 was amazing. Book 2 towards end is pretty predictable. Performance spot on with Troy & Angelina.

Good story.

Well moving on to the 3rd series it’s really good and keeps you in suspense.

Another Winning Storyline

Repetitive in regards to constantly explain the parol situation. like we know and they mentioned it too much

This book was as good or better than the first as we learn more about the characters and their backgrounds, also getting to know new characters. It does end on one heck of a cliffhanger so I’m hoping HH will get us the next installment before August of 2024!

Maybe better than the first

Ok so no surprise, yes I went ahead and listened to this second slice of Savannah and Falcon’s rollercoaster knowing it was going to end in another cliffhanger… damn it!! This has the spilling of secrets and revelations but, if I’m brutally honest, I didn’t find it quite as good as the first book. There were a lot of repetitions of certain facts, some going over the same old ground and there was not enough actual action. The story did move on in an enjoyable enough way with their feelings quickly intensifying and becoming clear to both of them that love is in the air. The drama and action happens towards the end of the book when Savannah is forced into a bargain she really doesn’t want to make.

The duet-style narration is still good with Troy acting the male parts and Angelina acting the female parts which gives it a much more realistic feel. I know this duet-style narration is more expensive to do, however it’s so worth it.. but please drop the unnecessary saids.. says.. asks.. replies.. etc etc etc.

Worth a credit? I had high hopes for this 2nd book.. some it delivered on - some it didn’t. But yes, overall it’s creditworthy and I will continue with it next year when the 3rd book will (hopefully) finish with a happy ever after rather than another damn cliffhanger. But maybe don’t bother with the series until all three (or more 🤷🏻‍♀️) books are out.. and then binge binge binge.

THE SPARKLE HAS SLIGHTLY DIMMED TO FOUR STARS
