Fame hides everything—except murder.

DCI David Garrick is called to the set of the world’s most-watched period drama when a suspicious death threatens to derail the production. At first glance it looks like an accident, but behind the glamour and celebrity lies a world of rivalries, secrets, and deceit—each more dangerous than the last.

As Garrick and his team dig deeper, they battle powerful egos, privileged stars, and the blinding lights of fame. But beneath the showbiz façade, Garrick uncovers something far more personal: a shocking revelation from his own past.

Now, with the ghosts of old secrets closing in and the spotlight burning brighter than ever, Garrick faces a truth that could destroy him—and everyone he swore to protect.

The Dead Will Talk is the gripping third instalment in M.G. Cole’s unflinching British crime series—perfect for fans of Peter James, JD Kirk, and Mark Billingham.

I enjoyed the basic plot-line and the character development is good. The AI narrative has major distracting mispronunciations, especially on abbreviated words. It is missing the emotion and nuances human narrator’s voices provide.
