Their paths converge when they are recruited by New York City Police Commissioner Theodore Roosevelt. He tasks them with investigating a series of unusual occurrences: erratic power surges, strange flickering lights, and a peculiar hum. The detectives discover that these phenomena are connected to the work of the brilliant but misunderstood Nikola Tesla, whose theories are being twisted for a malevolent purpose by a shadowy figure known as The Coil.

  • Act III: The Sky Serpent: The conflict moves to the skies with the introduction of Tesla's phantom airships, which cause widespread chaos.
