Upon hearing Louise explain the anomalous increase in light's roundtrip to the Moon, I invetigated further and verified the mystery. There do not seem to be any competing explanations. This book goes further and brings in ideas from the greatest physicists, put together in a new and compelling way. Having just returned to graduate school to complete my physics training after a 40 year hiatus, it seems that fundamental science is in dire need of fresh thinking. However, physics is a highly competitive field with only one-third of graduates able to find roles. The Ant Mill by Grimstrup explains hoe hidebound physics has become, as Louise herself explains here. To those who aspire to discover and understand, I recommend this book. Those of us who can would do well to follow her lead. One particularly intriguing avenue to explore is primordial black holes formed when light had more alacrity. This could explain much and possibly lead to testable hypotheses.
