A wonderfully thorough investigation into every Halloween film ever made between 1978 and 2018. Each film is given equal, loving attention by the authors, and the book is filled with goodies galore. The narrator is British and an absolute delight to listen to. If you love the series or are simply curious about the inner workings of a decades old franchise, look no further. It’s all right here. A wealth of knowledge for us “Halloween” fans. Well researched and written, and the narration is also very good. Highly recommend for any fan of the franchise who wants to dive deep behind the scenes.

Dropped a credit based on all the positive reviews, and was not disappointed. Great work by the authors, and my thanks to all those who agreed to be interviewed. I was too young for Halloween 1-3, but caught them on video or tv, so my first theater Halloween was #4. I went back for #5 and was disgusted with the cliffhanger. #6 didn't solve much but now I know why. I will check out the other books these guys have done, and hope they're as good as this one.
