Passion and danger collide in a breathtaking story from New York Times bestselling author Diana Palmer

Saved from an abduction and unthinkable harm, Gabrielle Bennett owed her life to her rescuer. Marc Stephano, a stranger from the sketchy shadows of town, could've asked for money. Instead, he introduced her to desire and claimed her completely - then he broke her heart.

Older, wiser and now a top New York model, Gabrielle is prepared for anything - except Marc's reemergence into her life. It's a merciless trick of fate. A successful, self-made millionaire, he's as powerful as ever. And he wants her. Forgive and forget don't apply when heartbreak is at stake. Yet the attraction between them refuses to back down.

The choice is hers: hurt Marc in the name of revenge, or give in to love.

plot: Marco Stephano rescues young Gabby from a group of thugs. Gabby falls in love with much older Marco.

Teenage Gabby falls in love instantly with hunky Marco Stephano who rescues her from an assault. As the friendship and passion heat up, Marco soon leaves Gabby with a bribe from her wealthy father to leave her alone. Years later Gabby is now a model and involved with Marco's troubled younger brother. This was a very early book from Diana Palmer. I love her early books she is more descriptive with her heroines. This story movies along well and it has a good plot. Sadly what lacks is the narration. Todd McClaren is good with male voices but his silly female voice sets your teeth on edge. Why they cannot get this right? Read the reviews. Still a good listen for Diana Palmer fans. HInt hint hint: how about some of those Diana Blayne early romances? (Diana Blayne) was an early pen name for Diana Palmer and she wrote for Candlelight books.

Early Palmer still very good~ Horrible Narration~

Narrator not good on female voices, very distracting. Good story and characters. Diana Palmer always weaves a good tale.

Good story, narrator?

Love Diana Palmer but, let's get back to Jacobsville. And please our hero smokes like a train not good. Good story and an enjoyable read.I simply love the Texas folks so I have expectations of Ms Palmer that do not include moving to New York City.

Were' not in Texas anymore
