I liked the story. Pete is a wonderful character, he has a lot of positive energy, and Gavin is his opposite, which is why they work so well together. Pete brings light into his life.

This is my first audiobook by this narrator, and I liked how he differentiated the voices, used sound effects, and brought out Pete's energy.

Omg, I loved this story so much! Peter absolutely owns my heart—he’s the sunshine Gavin didn’t know he needed. 💛 Learning about Gavin’s past broke my heart and made so much sense of why he’s so guarded. But Peter? He never gave up, and that light of his shined so bright through it all.

The narrator nailed it! The voices were distinct and full of emotion. I listened at 1.5x speed, and it was chef’s kiss perfection. 🎧✨

This was surprisingly emotional. I felt so bad for Gavin. I did not expect that. I love the chaos twink and the narration for him had me laughing. This was a good read. I was so happy to listen to it.

First off, the performance was spectacular. I love the different nuances he gave to each character. I love that i knew who was talking just by that alone. Secondly, this book was so good! There was spice and pain and healing and so much love. I love ALL the characters and truly hope they all get a book.

I’ve been waiting for this audio since I listened to Tattooed Heart. Just as book one, this one had me so emotional.

Gavin was in so much pain. Losing the person he loved most in such a horrible way, was heartbreaking. Living with that guilt for so long really took a toll on him. It hurt my heart and soul.

Pete was exactly what Gavin needed in his life. Someone who would brighten his shadows and inject some happiness into it. No matter how hard he tried, Pete wouldn’t let him push him away.

A disaster waiting to happen, Pete came into Gavin’s life and took root in it. He wanted Gavin and nobody, not even Gavin himself would stop him from getting his man.

This was a very heartfelt and relatable story. Alcoholism is no joke. I have full respect for Gavin. He managed to stay sober on his own for such a long time. It really takes a strong person to deal with such a terrible disease by themselves and still come up on top.

Can’t wait to read Roman and Cater’s book. I should stack up on Kleenex because I have a feeling I’m gonna need them.
