Alexandria House
Technically, they just met.
Technically, they shouldn’t be in love.
But who cares about technicalities?
Drayveon Walker is touted as one of the most talented players in the history of the game, instrumental in the St. Louis Cyclones’ two championship victories. Benevolent, focused, and driven, he has it all, lacking nothing he could ever want or need.
When Stevie October crashes into his life, Drayveon sees in her something he never realized he desired.
They’ve only just met, but the connection is strong and the feelings are real.
Could their serendipitous love be kismet?

Alexandria House did not disappoint with the second book in the St Louis Cyclones book. I do have to say that I'm not an insta-love sort of person, but this book made me a believer just this once.
Drayveon Walker is one of the top players in the league and on his team. But ball is the only thing that he is committed to. That, and helping his family. He likes the older women for fun, but not for any sort of relationship beyond that.
And Stevie. Holy heck, that first chapter was WOW! Not what I expected and everything all at once. Ms House brought a meet cute crashing right at Drayveon's front door and it was anything but cute. It was craziness all packed into the blue eyes of a delivery driver.
I'm not going to say much, but man I LOVED this pairing and this story! The way our non-committed Dray knew he just had to help Stevie was just beyond. I wanna man like that. AND that man knows how to take care of his family and people he considers his family until they cross him. Stevie and Dray have some issues with family and may be a little broken, but what they find in each other is balance and a sense of calm. And boy can these two get it! Don't ever count Alexandria House out for the heat. She brings it. And when you are listening to the audio......Jakobi Diem and Wesleigh Siobhan are FIRE!!
Technical is going to be hard to top for this series, but Dray and Stevie sold me on their connection and the family they created. I also liked that we didn't have any unnecessary couple drama. Sure, there was family drama, but nothing that made these two break up or question each other. They just worked.
Great characters, believable couple and loved the way their characters grew over the story. Wonderful writing and that heat kept me coming back. Can't wait to dive right into the next one.
Yes Yes Yes! This was near instalove perfection!
