These characters were great didn’t think the ones that died would die so early I also didn’t think I would like these characters as much as I did Tejada,Zeke, Lou and the other bunch but these characters were great Ernie is my favorite he’s a bad ass I know there are more books to read but I’m hoping these guys meet up with tejadas crew later down the road that would be cool I feel like there’s more to tejadas story as well as these guys only I haven’t read the next couple books yet which I will I’m addicted to this series well written and great story telling.

I love the idea of the story following normal everyday untrained people, however, I dislike that common sense always seems to rear its head continuously. Anytime there’s a chance for someone to make a mistake, we can count on it happening. I love the interactions and how the relationships emerge based on the characters being thrust together in desperate times. Reminds me of a Netflix show called Black Summer (wish there was a 2nd season). Despite my gripes, I did/do enjoy the series and am rooting for Jiyamma and Taro. I knew the cop wasn’t going to last from the start, he definitely didnt have the necessary apocalyptic demeanor to survive in such a world. Anyhow, hopefully there are follow ups….

One thing about this writer. No character is safe. If you have reached number seven of this series. You already know. Love this book though. Highly recommend this to any zombie lovers.

It was interesting and tragic! A lot of cursing, graphic, and intense. I cringed a lot. I feel like he has another story in these series!

Why does there need to be so much emphasis on making race a thing with a certain female biker character? The story would have gone the same way without it. Matter of fact, two of the female bikers were just cringe.
