Radio therapist Dr. Caitlyn Rhodes is pitted against a methodical murderer. First, her patients are found dead, then the mocking phone calls start. The evidence is pointing Texas Ranger Ian Pierce to one conclusion: he must protect Caitlyn from becoming this vicious killer's next victim...before he loses the woman he once loved - for good.

Author is great. Narrator. . . annoying, to say the least. She seems to have an "allergy" to pronouncing the letter "a".

As for the actual story, I never really connected to the characters and I am not sure if it's because of the narration or the story. The base storyline is solid and feels like one that I've primarily read before with a twist at the end which is worrisome. But the supporting characters enriched the story little and I think could have added more depth of developed more. The relationship between the two main characters didn't feel organic and I didn't feel their chemistry. Overall, it just didn't flow well and would benefit from a revision.
Terrible narration distracted me
