this is a great story with a great narrator as well but it was a little too short for me could have been a great great story if it was only a lot longer

Pretty different from the original story, but still really good. The acting was some of the best I’ve heard on audible. They made Vance into a lucky tenderfoot, not an experienced guy in disguise, and they also made his almost nonexistent interactions with Claire one of the biggest parts. Although it wasn’t very accurate to the actual story this is one of my favorite dramatized L’Amour’s.
