I think this was one of my favorites of the series. I LOVE Chase. He’s broody, alpha, and isn’t scared to say exactly what’s on his mind. And I love Natalie because she’s tough enough to put Chase in his place. The spice was definitely spicing as well. As usual the duet narration was phenomenal.

This wasn’t a very active story but it was connecting things together with dramatics. The Alphas Return is really going to bring everything together with the royalty issue. I can’t wait to uncover that part of the story.

I absolutely love this book. The push and pole and bully trope between Chase and Natalie drove me up the wall. But in the best way. It was so clear, reading it that Chase was very much a wolf and very clueless to who he really was in life. I just absolutely love these two together, and I love all the ups and downs in the drama and the plot twist that came along in this book. And the spice was fantastic.

Leah and Hayley do the best they can to keep the Jones/Walker shifter secrets while Chase pulls out all the stops with his investigative team continuing uncomfortable digging into the fire and other horrific events involving his 3 sisters. He stumbles onto Detective Natalie Lennox looking for answers as his attraction to her sparks fire. Unwilling to share any details, Nat is also drowning in their mutual attraction and aware he is stumbling toward answers and a powerful wolf.

I laughed so much as Chase and his team discovered so much of his sisters and mates family's info also tying back to himself in a gradual revelation. the "Holy shit" videos 😂😂😂. staking out Nat's place 😆
