I found this novel rather interesting. Lavinia's reaction to her husbands unexpected demise was very different than normal circumstances. I enjoyed hearing how she dealt with each encounter as she traveled across the country. However I did think the ending was rather abrupt. I felt as if I was left hanging a bit. Hopefully there will be a sequel.

I really enjoyed this story of coming in to your own at middle age.
Lavinia goes on a quest to find herself after her second husband dies. The story is wonderful and has a great flow.
Narration by Robin Shrock was excellent.
