The Bathroom Book of History Facts is exactly what the title promises. It’s packed with historical facts from all over the world. Some are serious, some are funny, and others made me stop and think "Interesting, I didn’t know that."

There are a lot of interesting facts in this book, to say the least. Some of them are things I would have never even thought to question, and a few actually made me laugh out loud. I also liked that at the end of each chapter there’s some kind of Q&A or trivia section, which keeps it fun and engaging.

The downside is that quite a few facts get repeated three or four times, and you do need to genuinely like history or at least have a solid interest in it to fully enjoy the book. That said, I didn’t even read this in the bathroom. I listened to it during my long commute home, and it was perfect for that. It’s light, informative, and doesn’t require a lot of heavy thinking, which made it an easy and enjoyable read. I honestly feel like I could hold my own at any history trivia night now!

I loved the humor of this book. I also enjoyed the historical refresher couse! I know history can repeat itself at times so I can overlook some areas that appear to be errors in editing ( I could be mistaken). l highly recommend this book to all history buffs!!

be a great book with a lot of interesting facts that I never knew throughout history. They were great things to share with friends and family, especially during get-togethers. The book was a little repetitive at times often repeating some facts because it applied to more than one chapter of the book. However, it did help the facts stick with you more the more you heard them in different sections of the book you started to remember more cause it was a lot of information. I really enjoyed listening to all of the different silly laws that have been created throughout history and some of the different inventions that were created throughout history whether they worked or didn’t work and things that were accidentally created it was also cool to learn where a lot of our catchphrases like read the riot act and slow as molasses in January, we’re created.
