Just finished this fantastic second John Cook novel “The Berlin Agent”. It continues to be a totally fresh new ww2 twist-filled story, complete with action, mystery and some brilliant transportive world-building. As the winter nights draw in, do yourself a favor and check out this superb, edge-of-your-seat Jack Reacher / Steven King style work, filled with colorful characters, exquisite detail which brings something brilliantly new to a genre which has been looking for someone to come along and to blow its doors off! WW2 genre - Consider your doors blown off.

Even better than book 1! John Cook is back - and he’s taking Nazi-names!

This book is exceptionally engaging. The story is exciting and the characters are engaging. I listened to it on a very long car ride and it flew by.

The main character is very well developed. You are immediately on his side. The historical period that it takes place in adds to the high drama.

I can’t wait for the next book.

I couldn’t stop listening
