While somewhat generic and predictable at times, this was an excellent chronicle of a man, an alien, an AI and the impacts of their choices. I would love to see this as a couple of action packed, yet thought provoking movies.

Books #1 & #2 were Good! They introduce us to Jonathan, his background, his character, his drives & motivations.
But book #3 however knocks it out of the park!!! It takes us on a timey-wimey, twisty-turny, mind bending, life alterering mystery trip through human and extraterrestrial existence!
I dithered a bit in book #1. Starting getting into book #2 a bit more. By book #3 my mind was blown!
Book #3 was so well written & narrated that this series is now in my top 10 or maybe even top 5 series of all time!
The superlative writing takes us on an adventure of a lifetime to save more than one entire race of beings. The logistics of accomplishing this feat was like being in a James Bond version of Inception along with some Charlie Chaplin slapstick humor guided by the most advanced AI that could ever be created alongside the best & worst of any alien being you could think up!
This description doesn't even do this genius level of writing justice. There truly is no comparison!
My only quip with this entire series is I wish in the epilogue we would have known if it was Leah or Ryleigh in the end. Instead we just get told Rachel. But maybe the fact that Jonathan says his Dad is fading is our answer? This will nag at me for a while I'm guessing 😆
I don't even know what series to try next because I'm afraid of already being disappointed, this was that good!!

This trilogy is among my all time favorites. I love that you can now get it with one credit! The stories may have some triggers, but they are small.

This is one of those stories that resonates with you well after you finish it!

I found the book series to be intriguing and hard to put down. Each time you think you get a grasp on how it is going to go it throws another loop at you!
