Life is looking rosy for Florrie Fox, manager of the Color Me Read bookstore in Georgetown, Washington, D.C. That same evening, Florrie finds Dolly dead on the floor of her apartment, a corner of a coloring book page clutched in her hand. 

As Florrie delves into Dolly's past and her personal effects, she discovers a skeleton in the closet - literally - and a whole lot of shady suspects. One of them is an expert in the fine art of murder, but can Florrie draw the right conclusion?

I loved the coloring crook. Trying to guess who done it but couldn't till the end. I love all of Krista Davis books. I have all of them in digital as well as Audible. I have listened to all and am looking forward to the next one's in all the series.

I really like this narrator. The story was interesting. Character descriptions/histories were sufficient )and didn’t bore me to tears like some do).
I appreciated that, while the author included a love interest for the main female character, they chose to leave out the sap and focus on solving the mystery(ies).

I've grown fond of the characters at this point, especially Mr. Dubois! I only hope the rest of the series deserves praise as well!
